IN BRIEF: A 10 inch Newtonian made to the highest tolerances mounted with complete stability on a head that is exceedingly accurate plus an 80mm finderscope using one of two illuminated graticule eyepieces.

TRUTHFUL COMPARISON WITH PREVIOUS TELESCOPES I HAVE USED:

Only for star fields as to how pin-point like star images are using the same eyepiece except for one scope,

1.   Fullerscopes 8 ¾ Newtonian with David Hinds mirror  -  these optics better,

2.   Meade 14 inch CAT  -  these optics much, much better,

3.   Takahashi 4 inch APO refractor – these optics not quite as good as,

4.   5 inch Celestron Schmidt-Newtonian  -  these optics much, much better,

5.   Pic du Midi Observatory T60 telescope  -  these optics as good as,

6.   7 inch Dmitri Maksutov  -  these optics as good as,

7.   Astro-Physics 18 inch reflector (ë/12)  -  these optics a little better than because the Strehl of the 18 inch was 0.980,

8.   8 inch  f/12 reflector ë/16 lunar imager, strehl 0.988 (special order)  -  these optics as good as unless very fine grain film is used that shows a slight difference,

9.   6 inch Helios refractor  -  these optics much better.
